Choice of Two beautiful bedrooms in Hither Green

🏡 Fancy living with two humans, a slightly confused rescue dog, and a cat who firmly believes he deserves only-child status?

Hi! We’re Louise & Jimmy, a recently engaged couple renting out two lovely rooms in our home in Hither Green for a few months while we save for our wedding.

We’re not looking for someone who just wants somewhere to sleep—we’d love to find people who want to live in a home, not just rent a room. We enjoy having people around and would love to get to know you, whether that’s the occasional chat over a cup of tea (or a glass of wine!), watching the odd film together, or simply sharing the highs and lows of everyday life. Of course, we also completely appreciate everyone’s need for their own space.

The house

Our semi-detached house is around a 7-minute walk from Hither Green station, with brilliant links into London Bridge, Waterloo East, Charing Cross and Cannon Street, making commuting nice and easy.

Inside you’ll find:

* Two available double bedrooms
* Two bathrooms (so no fighting over the shower every morning!)
* A spacious garden…
* …complete with a gloriously oversized 3m x 3m adult paddling pool, because if Britain insists on having heatwaves, we might as well lean into them.

The location is great too:

* Co-op is just a 2-3 minute walk away.
* A larger Sainsbury’s is about a 10-15 minute walk.
* Plenty of lovely independent cafés nearby.
* A great local pub within walking distance.
* Blackheath is around a 30-minute stroll away for weekend brunches, walks or a pint in the sunshine.

Your future housemates

There are two of us… and two very opinionated pets.

🐶 Benny is our rescue dog from Greece. He’s about a year old, ridiculously handsome, incredibly affectionate and firmly believes every visitor has arrived specifically to see him.

🐱 Pascal was rescued from a Tesco car park nine years ago and enjoyed life as an only child until Benny arrived. He’s still processing this life change. He tolerates Benny at best, but absolutely loves humans and will happily accept any attention you have to offer.

💙 Blue Room – £1,250 per month

* Slightly larger of the two rooms
* King-size bed
* Desk
* Wardrobe/storage cupboard

🩷 Pink Room – £1,150 per month

* Slightly smaller than the blue room
* Double bed
* Four large wardrobes with built-in drawers (ideal if your wardrobe has… expanded over the years!)

Dates

We’re fairly flexible with move-in and move-out dates.

One thing to mention: we’ll be refurbishing our bathrooms from the end of September. There will always be one fully functioning bathroom, but we thought it was only fair to mention that sharing one bathroom between four adults for a few weeks could require a little extra teamwork!
