Bright double room in a peaceful canal-side flat in Homerton, right on the edge of Hackney Marshes and a short walk from Hackney Wick.

The room is in a clean, bright three-bedroom flat with a large east-facing balcony overlooking the canal. The building also has a gym, 24-hour concierge and secure bike storage.

Available from 4th October, with some flexibility. Ideally we’re looking for someone long-term, a one-month short-term stay could also work.

We’re looking for a working professional who’s clean and tidy, respectful of everyone’s space, but also social enough to hang out and relax together at the end of the day.

About us

You’ll be sharing with me and Rakhee. We’re both in our 30s and work in the creative industries - I’m a furniture and lighting designer and Rakhee is an actor.

We both mostly work away from home, although occasionally work from the flat.

We keep the place clean and tidy and are respectful of each other’s space. During the week we tend to do our own thing, but we’ll often share the living room in the evenings, cook, watch TV and decompress together. We’d love to find someone with a similar balance - independent, but happy to make the flat feel like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
