Hi. Lorraine and Graeme are seeking a new flatmate to share our spacious flat. The room is available on the 1st of February 2025 and it’s a very large 4m x 4m unfurnished double bedroom located upstairs in our 2 floor flat. Please get in touch asap to arrange a viewing.
We are looking for a new flatmate that can commit to a year lease and hopefully wants to stay longer. Right to Rent & reference checks will be carried out by our real estate agent.
About the flat….
- It has a large communal lounge with dining area, large bathroom and small kitchen.
- The bedroom is a large, unfurnished room. You’ll need your own bedroom furniture. It’s 4m x 4m – offering great scope for you to customise the layout with furnishings. Julia is offering her tall wardrobes for free if interested. Up to you.
Rent, bills, deposit….
- Rent is a bargain at £559 pcm. Utility bills, council tax (band D) & broadband are paid on top of the rent.
- It ends up at approx £700 per month with rent and all bills together, possibly a tad more in winter based on how much heating is on.
- You’ll need to pay a 1 month deposit up front, which goes into a deposit protection scheme.
Location / transport….
- The flat is on Church Lane N8, Hornsey, zone 3. It is a 15 min walk to either Crouch End Broadway or Turnpike Lane tube station.
- The local area has shops, restaurants, pubs, cinemas and a big Sainsburys 10 min walk
- Transport is super close – a 3 min walk from Hornsey national rail station (goes to Finsbury Park, Highbury Islington, Essex Road, Old Street, Moorgate), a 15 min walk to Turnpike Lane tube station. Lots of buses too (41, 144, 91, 29, 141)
- Lots of green spaces and parks nearby, including Alexander Palace and Priory Park

- Lorraine works in the arts and Graeme work for a charity.
- This is a comfortable home with a chilled-out vibe. We’re not a party household. No smoking in the flat and sadly no pets.
