An en-suite double room in E14 incl bills

I’m looking for a new female flatmate who can move in from 15th August onwards, as my lovely flatmate has bought a house and is moving out.

The room available is an en-suite room in a two-bedroom flat. The only furniture included is a double bed and built-in wardrobes.

The flat is located in Island Gardens (E14) – a 7-minute walk to both Island Gardens and Mudchute DLR stations, a 5-minute walk to the Greenwich Foot Tunnel, and a 25-minute walk to Canary Wharf. It’s very well connected with DLR and buses, and perfect for anyone working in the City or Canary Wharf.

The rent is £1,200 per month, including all bills and council tax. This also includes access to a 24/7 concierge service, as well as a residents-only small gym, pool, sauna, and jacuzzi.

You’ll be sharing the kitchen, living room, and patio with just me. I work in the City as a tax consultant and usually go into the office 1–2 times per week. I’m originally from Japan and have been living in the UK for 6 years.

I’d describe myself as easy-going, friendly, sociable, active, and respectful. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, doing pilates, crocheting, knitting, photography, travelling, reading, and catching up with friends over museum visits, gallery trips, watching Netflix, and musicals. I’m also a big foodie, so I’m always happy to explore new restaurants and cafés, or make matcha and cook Japanese food for you in my spare time! 😊

My current flatmate and I are friends, and we make time to catch up outside of our busy work lives. I’d love to have a similar living arrangement with my new flatmate, where we can genuinely enjoy living together rather than simply coexisting under the same roof.

This is not a party house, and I’m looking for someone who is tidy, respectful, friendly, and kind. Ideally, you’ll be considerate of shared spaces, enjoy a peaceful home environment, and be open to the occasional chat, meal, or activity together while also respecting each other’s independence and personal space. No smoker please.
