I have currently a lovely, bright, recently renovated and fully furnished double bedroom to rent in my house.
The house is extremely modern and very spacious (see pictures). The bedroom has a wonderful double sided exposure, ie it has a two large windows with beautiful leafy views. Think of boutique hotel type of bedroom in a mid-century modern house.
This would be a perfect place, like a home away from home.
The house also has a lovely back garden as well as a front garden and even private parking.
The room is furnished and it has a massive wardrobes, mirrors, with extra storage under the bed, as well as a desk with chair and 2 separate charging points for phones/computers.
The bedroom is on the 1st floor of the house that has 3 levels and a total internal space of about 230 sq. m. so there is plenty of space to move very comfortably around the house. Home working is easy as the house has fast broadband and there is a large desk in your bedroom. The kitchen is very large with 2 sinks. The main dining table is facing the back garden and one can look at squirrels coming up from time to time, and you can also use the dining table in the kitchen overlooking the front garden. You would have private usage of a modern bathroom with Italian style shower on the ground floor and guests would use the downstairs toilet.
You and I and 2 other professionals would be sharing the ground floor where the massive kitchen, dining and living rooms are, as well as access to the front and back gardens. You can park your bike in the back/front garden and you can even park a car in front of the house too.
The house is on a private road, which is a close in the beautiful and leafy residential area of Hillmarton Conservation area. The house is at the very center of what seems like a green calm oasis, near Kings Cross. We are just 5 mins away to the Caledonian Road tube station (Picadilly line) and it is an easy 15 mins walk to the newly redeveloped area of Kings Cross. There are many food shops, a cosy pub, coffee shops, gyms, and a even theatre, all within 5 mins walk.
I am friendly, polite, clean, professional. I am also a single dad (I have my child half the the week), and I am liberal and also gay. I am originally French and I have been living and working in London for 20 years. I love traveling and I am an epicurean too with many interests. I am looking for a lodger/ lodgers to house share that are also happy to be in a house with me and sometime my child too. I prefer clean, respectful, open minded, progressive, reliable people with excellent references (including a CRB check).
You would have access to the washing machine and dryer, broadband and also access to Netflix, Amazon Video, and Disney +. There is also a cleaner to clean the house and bedrooms on a weekly basis. Contribution to bills including energy, water, etc is £200 per month.
