Spacious room in King’s Cross area - June/July

Hi, I’m subletting my room from June 24th to July 17th as I’ll be travelling to the United States to cover the World Cup as a journalist.

Ideally, I’d like to sublet the room for the whole period, but I’m also open to shorter stays between those dates.

- One week: £300

The house is ideally located in North London, about a 15-minute walk from King’s Cross, very close to Angel, and with Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Overground station just around the corner. It’s a beautiful, quiet residential area, with plenty of cafés, pubs, and everything you might need nearby - including one of the best Indian restaurants in the city, Prince of Tamil.

You’ll be welcomed by my lovely flatmates, who will all be around during your stay.

You’ll be sharing this huge house with Angela, a young Greek woman in her late twenties (she’ll kill me if I get the exact age wrong), with whom you’ll share the downstairs bathroom. You’ll also live with Arvin, a dynamic 30-year-old Dutchman, and Florian, a 33-year-old Frenchman who will soon be moving to New York.

The house itself is very spacious, with an open-plan kitchen, a large terrace perfect for barbecues, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms. We enjoy spending time together - going to the pub next door, trying restaurants, going to the cinema, watching football, or listening to vinyl together.

As for my room: it’s large, well lit, and fully furnished with a desk, a king-size bed, and a large screen you’re welcome to use. There are also two vinyl turntables in the room that you can enjoy during your stay.
