Bright Double Room in Islington

Hi there! A bright and spacious double room is becoming available in a lovely 2-bed flat with 1 bathroom, kitchen and with a spacious living room. The current lease goes until March 23, and then we can renew the contract as our landlord always renews the lease. The location is great (also with some beautiful sunsets!). Near Essex Rd station: and a ~12 mins walk from Highbury-Islington station, ~13 mins walk from Angel station, we are very lucky to have incredible cafes, restaraunts, pubs, winebars etc and the De Beauvoir only 10 minutes away.

Room:

The room comes furnished with a bed and wardrobe. The bedside tables and Ikea chest of drawers currently in the room can be removed or my flatmate will be selling them. The rest of the flat also comes furnished with basics, but my flatmate will also be taking/selling some of the furniture in the shared living spaces (eg dining table, ikea cubes and coffee table) so if you have furniture that’s a plus.

Price: £1,250 pcm, plus bills (utilities and council tax). The deposit will also be paid directly to my flatmate.

Move-in date: The room is available 2nd November 2025. As the move in date (Nov 2) is outside the rent cycle, the first month rent will be prorated and paid directly to my flatmate.

Who I’m looking for and about me:

I am from Sweden and lived in London for almost 7 years and I work in marketing (wfh 2 days/week) in London Bridge. I’m an outgoing, friendly and sociable person who enjoys going out with my friends for a nice meal/drinks or for a coffee walk on the weekend. But I’m also valuing a quiet night at home watching some movies or series., The flat is clean, relaxed, and ideal for a young female professional (24+) looking for a comfortable home base. Bonus if you’re up for the occasional wine night, watching movies in our cozy living room or a weekend brunch.
