- Victorian terraced house over three floors with 4 bedrooms
- Great pubs, cafés, green spaces, and food spots
- Nearby Big Tesco, Tesco Express, and 24-hour shops
- 5 mins walk to Kennington Park
- 7 mins walk to Kennington & Oval Stations
- 12 mins walk to Vauxhall (and the river)
- LGBTQIA+ friendly xo
Ground floor: open living room/kitchen, a small loo
Mezzanine floor: main bathroom
1st floor: two bedrooms (including this one)
2nd floor: two bedrooms the same
Each tenant is on an individual contract with 6 months minimum (no maximum, no 'end of contract', and no joint tenancy agreement fuss). We want someone who is looking to be in place for at least a year.
THE ROOM:
Everything (bills+++) is included in the £800 rent; water, electric, gas, wifi, council tax, tv license, and Sky TV.
- The room comes with the double bed, wardrobe, desk, and the 2m wall shelf.
- There is potential for other furnishings to be acquired from the previous tenant.
- The bed is a duvan and has four big drawers, so the room decent storage.
- It faces the back of the house, away from the road, meaning it’s nice and quiet.
- It keeps fairly cool in the heat (the front rooms get direct sun).
The earliest start date would be December 17th. You might be able to work some wiggle room with our landlord, but we want the room taken ASAP.
THE HOUSEMATES:
- We’re three young female professionals (Josephine, Georgia, and Kaira) in our mid/late 20s
- We all know each other from the house/spareroom and have become good friends.
- We each do a mix of WFH and in-office working.
- Keen for someone who we get on with, so if you’re a chilled one, you’ll probably match our vibe.
- We're all quite busy and out of the house a fair amount, but enjoy watching a film/having a drink/some food together when we can!
- Some interests between us include films/TV, art, music, cooking, sports, and dance.
- It’s a clean and tidy household, and we’re considerate housemates who are nice to be around and respect each other's space.
