The room is a perfectly formed midsize double with a lovely big window and tons of storage via built-in wardrobes. The room comes with the bed and my housemate is happy to sell her desk and chair on to the next housemate. The flat is just amazing - recently repainted with an amazing kitchen and bathroom and parquet flooring. The photos speak for themselves! The rest of the flat will remain furnished as in the photos. Move in 1 Dec but slightly flexible for earlier/later.

The flat is a 2 bed on the first floor of a lovely 1930s building with a communal courtyard garden. The building is maintained impeccably and is a little oasis in the bustle of Kennington/Oval. There is a community atmosphere and a resident gardener means the courtyard is always full of life. 5min walk to Oval station, 10min walk to Kennington and with a wide range of bus options. Just around the corner from lovely Kennington Park and in a neighbourhood full of great cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Bills (c.150pm) include council tax, gas/electric, water, WiFi, toilet paper subscription and fortnightly cleaner. The landlords are very helpful, warm and friendly. We’ll be signing a new 1 year contract that I’d like someone to commit to for the duration.

You’ll be living with me — Mia, she/her, 26, a queer woman working in decolonial curriculum design at UAL. I love cooking, books, pubs, galleries, a good rant, etc. My lovely housemate is moving out to live with her partner. We met through Spareroom and she’s become a great friend, so I would love to find someone like-minded to share the flat with. I’m looking for a kind, considerate and fun person who is comfortable with their own space but also down for the occasional flat dinner/pub trip/reality TV moment etc. Queer/queer friendly is a must, and terfs/tories need not apply.
