are James and Ellie, a couple in our 30s who are looking for a professional couple or individual to move into our 2-bed, rental property starting from Thursday 9 October. The rent for the room will be £1,800 plus bills (roughly £150).

The property is located a 10-minute walk from Lambeth North and Elephant and Castle stations, or a 20 minute walk to Waterloo, with the added bonus of a bus stop at the end of the road to Soho / Victoria. Great location, meaning it’s incredibly easy to travel across London via bus, Northern, Bakerloo and overground trains.

The house is a beautiful listed Georgian property, with a genuinely great landlord who deals with any issues quickly and without bother! The place is homely and relaxed and we’d love to find someone who likes living here as much as we do!

You'll be moving into our current housemates' double room, located at the top of the house, with a beautiful view of the square. You will have your own large bathroom, with a free standing bath and separate shower. Our room is located in the lower ground floor of the property, with communal areas (office/kitchen/living room) on the middle floors.

About us:

You'll be living with James, who works in the charity sector, and Ellie, a solicitor. We both work primarily from our offices in Central London, but James works from home Monday and Friday. However, there is enough space for two people to work comfortably in the office at one time! Plus additional space at the back of the living room to set up desks if you want to!

The tenancy is for a year with an option to extend if needed. We are currently looking to purchase a property and will likely move out before the end of the tenancy, but the landlord is incredibly flexible and so you will be able to fill our room when we leave without issue.

A young-professional couple or individual looking for a shared house with great transport amenities!

We’d ideally like someone who’s tidy and considerate in the communal areas, so the house stays a nice place for everyone.

We’re friendly and easy-going, and enjoy socialising! So if you fancy a chat over dinner, a glass of wine/pint at the local pub (at the end of the road) or a Netflix night, that’s always welcome - but we also respect each other’s space and downtime.
