Spacious, light double bedroom in Kennington

My partner and I are looking for a lodger for the spare bedroom in our two-bed flat.

The room is spacious and bright and comes with plenty of storage space in the form of a large built-in wardrobe. The room is furnished with a double bed, a desk and a chair.

The flat features a shared bathroom, a nicely decorated and spacious living room and a kitchen with induction hobs, a washer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. The flat is in great condition, recently refurbished with double-glazed windows, and we've really enjoyed the cosy, homey feel of it.

The flat is in a lovely historic building within a few minutes' walk from both Elephant & Castle and Kennington Tube stations. Places like Westminster and Waterloo are within easy reach, reachable by bike in about ten minutes.

You would be sharing the flat with me and my partner Estel. We are young professionals, from Finland and Spain, respectively. I am a civil servant and Estel a project manager. We love food and travelling, and you will often find us at home cooking and enjoying a meal watching a movie, or out playing sports and socialising.

We would like to share the flat with someone who's considerate, respectful and sociable and has experience of sharing a flat with others. We usually work from home a couple of days a week, so we would appreciate if your job wasn't entirely home-based so we can find a nice balance.

The rent for the room is £1,100 pcm, and bills typically come up to roughly £100 pcm. This includes broadband, electricity, gas and water. The room is available immediately until 11 January 2026.
