We have a single room available in a beautiful, 2-storey terraced house backing onto a quiet courtyard (which also features an array of decent restaurants), sharing with two friendly guys (working freelance in theatre) one of whom has been in the property for eight years.
The room is available from September, but an August start may be negotiable with the leaving tenant. We need a minimum stay of 16 months (i. e. through to end of Jan 2019). Rent = £640pcm + bills.
The room is unfurnished, but comes complete with a very comfortable single bed, and large fitted closets on the landing opposite, for wardrobe and storage (and a hatch above the room into the loft space, for potential long-term storage).
The house was fully refurbished c. 2009 and is well looked after. It has good central heating, two bathrooms (with excellent water pressure), a well-sized and bright communal front room, all mod cons (including washer/dryer and dishwasher) and all the properties on the courtyard are looked after by a management firm, who are quick to respond to maintenance problems and the like. The courtyard is gated, offering excellent security (including bicycle lock-up points).
LOCATION IS UNBEATABLE: SE11 is 5mins walk to Kennington (Northern line), 10mins walk to Vauxhall (Victoria line, main line & buses), 15mins walk to the river and 30mins *walk* to the West End! There is also an enormous Tesco 2mins walk away.
No pets, unfortunately, and no smoking inside the house.
