A great double in friendly flatshare

Hi there,

We have one double room to rent in a great three bed flat in Kennington. The flat was renovated three years ago and is in an excellent location between Vauxhall and Kennington...ten minutes walk from the river.

We are looking for a new flatmate because our existing flatmate Gemma is moving to Berlin.

The current flatmates are Tom (me) and Nicky. We are both pretty sociable and enjoy going out and seeing friends, but also doing our own thing. I work in legal research and Nicky is a midwife.

Location:

Five minutes walk from Kennington tube station and 10 mins walk from Vauxhall rail and tube (plus only a 30 min walk to Embankment and 20 min walk to Waterloo and Elephant). There is also a bus stop at the end of the road (3, 58, 159, 360, N3, N109).

There's a big Tesco five mins walk away and a Tesco Metro at the end of the road.

The room is a medium-size double room. It comes with a bed, wardrobe etc.

The rent is £687 pcm.

The bills come to roughly an additional £100 pcm.

The deposit is £1,000.

No agency fees. The contract is for 12 months with a six month break clause. The landlord is good and generally gets things fixed very promptly.

We need someone to move in on March 22nd and would ideally like to have identified someone and have the new contract signed by February 22nd.

We will therefore be holding viewings this week and next.
