I am advertising for a flatmate to take one of the bedrooms in a 1238 sq ft two bed, two bath second floor flat (with lift) in a converted former cinema. My current flat mate (found on SpareRoom and moved in together in Feb 2017) is moving to New Zealand in the new year so I am advertising again.
The flat has a very spacious feel with wide hallways and very generously sized bedrooms. The living area is open plan with plenty of space for the dining table and sofas - it does not feel crowded in any way. The kitchen (and rest of the flat) is fully equipped as the landlord has previously listed it on AirBnB (very successfully). The reviews there will give you an independent view of the flat and the neighbourhood but, in summary, it is located within 5min of Kennington tube (Northern Line) and an less than 10min walk from Vauxhall (Victoria Line), so is in easy walking distance of Waterloo, the South Bank, Westminster and, of course, the Oval. There are pubs and restaurants close by and, handily, there is a Tesco Express on the ground floor of the building. There will be a cleaner visiting regularly. There is also an underground car park below the building and you will have access to a secure bike storage room down there.
In respect of bills, I’ve updated the pricing to be all-inclusive so there will be no fluctuation in your monthly cost.

About me:
I am not a London native and will confess to still not knowing the city very well. I did spend two years working here after University but for the following five years I was based in New York (best time ever). After that I came back to London for six months and then spent the next two years living and working in Paris. But since the summer of 2015 I have been working in London (if Canary Wharf counts). I am now working near Liverpool Street and this flat will be my new London base; I own a flat in Bath that I will visit a couple of weekends a month.
I am very easy going; I enjoy books, movies and pub quizzes. As you can imagine, I also enjoy travelling. My sport of choice is rugby, but I watch most things and enjoy going to all manner of sporting events.

About you:
Professional, social, relaxed. Stable and solvent. Enjoys a Sunday roast. My only notes would be that I prefer a calm atmosphere at home and that this will not be a massive party flat.
