Dbl short or long term 20 mins to West End/City

I am a secondary school languages teacher and am looking to rent out my spare double room mid-week. This means you have your own main home where you live every weekend.

I've lived in this area for 25 years. It has brilliant connections. Just 3 stops to Charing Cross on the tube and a 15 minute bus journey to Liverpool St. in the other direction. Just 1 stop on the tube to Waterloo and the South Bank is a 30 minute walk or 5 minutes on the bus. Kennington is now in zone 1.

The room is a double with a shelving unit and a wardrobe. It has a ensuite shower and sink. There is a shared bathroom with toilet on the same floor. There is an additional toilet downstairs. The house is light and bright and very spacious. I moved to this house specifically for the garden and have managed to create my own oasis of calm in central London.

I also rent Mon-Wed to Sorrel who tends to tuck herself away after we have had a catch-up. I can often be found in front of a bit of rubbish TV on the sofa or a gin and tonic in the garden. You are free to join in or hide away!

I have a 5 year old cockapoo who is also my school’s therapy dog so she goes with me to work every day.
