An older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value and enjoy the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She is well supported by Carer, but would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping or going shopping with her sometimes, cooking and sharing a few meals, light cleaning and tidying, laundry, carrying heavier items, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom, furnished with a double bed and wardrobe, and a bathroom that is mainly for the Sharer’s sole use (only shared if a family member visits and stays). There is also shared use of the kitchen and garden.

The property is conveniently located just 10 minutes’ walk from Willesden Junction (Underground – Bakerloo Line, Overground – Lioness and Mildmay Lines, and many bus routes). Is also only 15 minutes’ walk from Kensal Green Station.

The lady is very sociable and really enjoys company. She also likes gardening, watching Greek TV and going shopping. She used to love cooking but this is tricky now.

She has daily carers, a daughter who visits regularly and a son who comes to stay a few times a year. She also has friendly and helpful neighbours.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker.
