We have a lovely, cosy room available in our ground-floor flat in Kilburn. The room window opens directly onto the garden, which is really nice and queit, especially in summer. The flat itself is quite warm during winter but stays cool in summer, and it's generally a very quiet and comfortable place to live.

**Location-wise**, we're very well connected! Kilburn Station (Jubilee line) is about a 10-minute walk, and Brondesbury (Mildmay Overground) is only 5 minutes away. The neighbourhood itself is lovely and quiet, but Kilburn High Road is just around the corner, with pretty much everything you could need: supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pubs, cafés, etc.

**A little about us and the flat:**

We're two working professionals, both out at work most of the day, and we really enjoy coming back to a peaceful home.

I'm a doctor working in an aesthetic clinic. I love cooking, although I rarely have enough time for it these days, but I do manage to bake something nice every once in a while! I also love a good movie night, a chat over dinner and generally having a nice atmosphere at home.

My flatmate is Italian, works in real estate and has been living in London for about 10 years. He's very calm, easygoing and considerate, and we get along really well.

We're both quite sociable and enjoy spending time together in the living room, chatting, cooking or having the occasional barbecue in the garden. At the same time, we really appreciate our peace and quiet, especially after a long day at work.

I think what we're trying to find is a nice balance. We don't want a flat that feels like a hostel, where everyone stays locked in their room and barely says hello, but we're equally not a party house where people are coming over for after-parties every weekend!

We respect each other's privacy, routines and boundaries, but also like having a laugh and making the place feel like a proper home.

**Who we're looking for:**

Ideally someone around 25–40, preferably a working professional with a similar routine to ours. Someone tidy, considerate, friendly and generally easy to live with.

We're not expecting everyone to be best friends or spend every evening together, but it would be lovely to find someone we genuinely get along with, who enjoys the occasional chat, dinner or movie night, and who also appreciates having their own space.

The room is offered as part of a **joint tenancy agreement**, so references will be required.
