Description
A small double in a two-bed flat in Lea Bridge, right next to Jubilee Park which connects to the marshes. Great transport links and lots of green open space.
I own the flat and live (and often work) here. I'm a writer and composer, working in theatre and music making for disabled adults. This room is suitable for quiet, tidy people who are easy to be around and won't be working from home. Shorter lets are currently preferred, hence the weekly rate, but I'm open to a longer let for the right person. I would also consider someone taking the room Monday-Friday for longer periods and adjusting the rent accordingly.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with space for one to eat at the counter; a comfortable shared living room with sofa, dining table, desk, piano and space for yoga etc., and a decent size garden with patio. On-street parking can be arranged with a permit.
It's less than 10 minutes to Lea Bridge overground, with regular connections to Stratford (Elizabeth, Jubilee, Central lines etc.) and Tottenham Hale (Victoria line), just one stop or about 5 minutes in either direction. There are good cycle lanes and buses (55, 56) at the end of the road and a large Aldi two minutes away, with various delis and coffee shops close by. You can walk across the marshes to Chatsworth Road or Clapton in about half an hour, or Walthamstow village if you head North East.
Some flexibility on dates - feel free to get in touch for a chat about the room and availability.
