Double room in cosy flat SE13 short & long stays!

Small Double room available in gorgeous cosy two bed flat in lovely Victorian building that used to be a London pub! Original sash windows, high ceilings, very bright and airy but also cosy.

It’s on a residential street set back from the high street so nice and quiet, 2min walk directly in a straight line from front door!). Newsagents / convenience store downstairs, artisan bread shop and brand new self serve laundrette with tingle dryers all right next door, and it’s a 5 min stroll to Lewisham park.

Room is in a first floor two bedroom flat, sharing with an airbnb guest (room also listed on airbnb) in the second bedroom. His name is Benedikt and he’s Austrian, very polite but keeps to himself, and is often out. Common areas will share are bathroom / living / kitchen area.

I’m looking for someone to stay from 1st November, very flexible and happy for shorter term stays. Can also be fairly flexible on move in date too! The only thing I would mention is the room is clean and bright with a big window but it’s very small with just a double bed and one wardrobe, so if you need a lot of space it will not be suitable, though there is a spacious living area with L sofa and table and chairs to use as workspace/dining table. The other guest has a much larger room and has a desk and table in the room so you can use it as often as you like, great for WFH.

The flat is a ten minute walk to Ladywell or Lewisham station where you can get to London Bridge in 5-20 minutes, plus many buses on the doorstep that take you all the way to central London (buses will take about 50mins but it’s one bus all the way to Oxford street) a convenience store just next door.

Lewisham hospital is very close to so great location for nurses / medics looking for somewhere to stay, or a transitional place while between places. .

High street has all the supermarkets, a huge TKMAXX, RAID, H&M, restaurants, salons, coffee shops, bars/pubs, there’s a big vegan food shop just 5 mins walk from the flat. Lewisham station is an 10-14 min walk or 5mins by bus from the doorstep.
