My name's Xanthe and I have a big double room to rent in a lovely modern flat in central Lewisham. My current flatmate is moving out to be closer to work.
About me
I'm a 32 year old accountant working in Holborn 3 days a week, with 2 days a week from home. I'm fairly laid back and like nights in with a glass of wine (particularly champagne!), a home cooked dinner or takeaway and Netflix. I see the flat as my sanctuary and would like it to be yours too :).
I'm a big sports fan but also like watching movies, reality TV, drama and comedies, as well as checking out new pubs and restaurants in the area. I have friends over sometimes and you're also welcome to, I like to meet new people!
About you
All professions and genders are welcome, but would like someone who wants to make the place a home. Preferably between 26-40 and working full time, so we have something in common. Open to new to London (would be happy to show you around!) and experienced townies.
About the flat
The flat is super modern, only built in 2015 so it's really energy efficient and warm in the winter, so no scary heating bills! The room is a good sized double and comes complete with double bed, wardrobe and two bedside cabinets. There's a shared living room with Smart TV (Netflix, Prime and Now TV Sports are all loaded and you can use these for free), sofa and dining table. The flat has really good storage. The kitchen has inbuilt everything (including a dishwasher, which is a massive plus) and you'd get your own storage space. There's also good built in storage in the hall with the washing machine. There's a courtyard downstairs that's open to all and gets the sun all day, so is a lovely hangout spot.
L&Q is the landlord and they have a dedicated maintenance team, so reporting any issues is easy. We have a cleaner who comes every week and this is included in the bill cost below.

Deposit: £804
Bills: £254 per month (this will likely increase a little as council tax will go up, but I don't have the amount yer. Full breakdown available)

It's a new development just a few minutes walk from Lewisham (zone 2) station, with direct connections to London Bridge (10 mins), Waterloo (15 mins) and Charing X (20 minutes) via rail and Canary Wharf (20 mins) via the DLR. There's also a number of great bus routes for access to Peckham and New Cross. The development is great, there's a 24 hour gym, Asda supermarket, beauty salon and barbers within the development itself, and Lewisham shopping centre, Glass Mill leisure centre and various bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes. The flat is on 6th floor, has a lift and an access buzzer with screen, so is very secure.
