Large Room Available in house in Lewisham

Spacious, bright room with a double bed (on the ground floor).

The house is in a quiet residential street, ten minute walk to Lewisham station, 15 minute walk to Blackheath. Overground trains to London Bridge/Charing Cross/ Waterloo East/ Cannon Street/Victoria. DLR trains to Bank/Stratford. Fare zone 2.

There is a large shared kitchen and a large but cosy shared lounge with TV. The bathroom is shared with one person.
There is a garden with patio area, table and chairs, and a bike store.

Bills: all bills are included in the room rental.

About Me:
I’m a soon-to-be-retired university lecturer (female), and my children are now living independently. I’m a friendly, tolerant and open-minded person, and have friends of all ages and cultures.

In my spare time I like cooking, cinema, reading, photography, cycling, rowing, and travelling. I’m frequently away visiting friends, but home is important to me. I’m reasonably tidy but not obsessive about it!

I’m hoping to get a cat (or 2 kittens) at some point, so you would have to like cats!

Who I’m Looking For:

I’d love to share my home with someone kind, respectful, and fairly quiet. Ideally, someone independent but open to the occasional drink, coffee/tea, or shared meal. I’ve had lodgers in the past and enjoyed having them around.

I don’t eat meat, but I don’t mind if you do. No smoking allowed in the house.

It’s fine if you want to have occasional overnight visitors, but I would want you to let me know in advance.
