Hither Green Double Room - 15 min to London Bridge

Hey! We’re Joe, Nathan and Kieran - a friendly, respectful LGBTQ+ household - and we’re looking for a fourth housemate to join our lovely terraced home in Hither Green from 12th December.

The location is only 15 minutes to London Bridge/central London by train, and Hither Green station is just a 5-minute walk from the house. Greenwich and Canary Wharf are really easy to reach via Lewisham, with Lewisham town centre and all its great shops just walking distance from the house.

We’re a sociable group who enjoy pub trips, film nights and board games, but we’re equally respectful of each other’s space and down time.

The house itself is warm and homely, with a good-sized garden. Downstairs you’ll find a cosy living room, a kitchen/dining space overlooking the garden, plus a downstairs toilet. Upstairs is the main bathroom (bath/shower) and the available bedroom - which is 3.50m x 2.99m, comfortably fits a double, and comes furnished or unfinished; whatever works best. The current photos aren’t of our furniture, but all communal spaces will be fully furnished by us.

It’s worth noting that the contract technically states 2 years, but you can leave early should it be needed by paying a £50 fee, so there is flexibility. We’d ideally be looking for someone who can do at least a year with us though.

Bills are estimated at no more than £150 per month maximum, covering heating, water, electricity, council tax and internet. We’re also kindly please asking for £67.50 for communal items we’ve already bought (Sebo hoover, 40” smart TV, air fryer and a coffee machine with a bean grinder).
