A friendly and cheerful older lady with a good sense of humour but with problems with sight and spatial awareness is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She is well-supported in the day, but would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking up to four or five meals each week, finding things, simple tech, occasional outings (eg to the cinema) and ad hoc other practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom with own bathroom and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in an excellent location just 15 minutes’ walk from Lewisham Station in one direction, and from Blackheath station in the other, both with regular trains into London Bridge. It’s just 8 minutes’ walk to Lewisham Shopping Centre.

The lady enjoys listening to the radio and watching TV, attending singing and art groups, and tripe to the cinema and theatre with friends. She enjoys meeting friends for lunch, and also takes her small friendly dog for daily walks.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests. A dog-lover is essential.
