Room in Lewisham

Looking for a housemate to share a lovely 2-bedroom split-level maisonette in a fantastic spot between Lewisham, Greenwich and Blackheath. The flat has a separate kitchen and living room spread over two floors, lots of natural light, and leafy views overlooking green space.

The available room is a decent-sized double with built-in cupboards and can be repainted if you’d like to make it your own. There is no bed in there just yet as I just moved but happy depending on the housemate to provide that. The flat has a spacious living room with big southwest-facing windows, a feature fireplace, and plenty of room to relax or work from home. There is a bright bathroom with bath and shower.

Location-wise, it’s incredibly well connected — just a short walk to Elverson Road DLR and Lewisham Station, with easy access to Canary Wharf, London Bridge and central London. Greenwich Park, Blackheath, Hilly Fields and other green spaces are all nearby, and Brockley Market is within walking distance on Saturdays. Deptford, Greenwich Village and Blackheath are all close by for cafés, bars, restaurants and markets, with big supermarkets and gyms nearby too.

About me: I work part-time teaching at a university and also run my own studio. I am working from my studio which is close by. The flat would suit someone friendly, considerate and independent. You’ll also need to be comfortable living with a dog — no responsibilities involved, just happy having an animal around the home.

Bills are not included in the price but suspecting with council tax, energy, heating, water and internet it comes up to be between £100 - 150 per month.

I am looking for someone respectful, no party flat, who is happy to share and live communally. As it is a two bedroom flat with just the two of us living there, the vibe needs to right.
