Hi! I’m going abroad to study for a year, so I’m looking for someone to take my room from 1 September for around a year.

It’s a bright, spacious and newly extended room in a quiet family home, and I think it would be ideal for a student or young professional who wants somewhere comfortable, peaceful and really well connected.

The room has a king-size bed, a large 2.5m wardrobe with plenty of storage, and lots of natural light. You’ll also have your own bathroom. My parents have their own ensuite, so the main bathroom is completely yours and you’ll be the only person using it.

The kitchen is shared and is modern, bright and fully equipped. You’ll be living with my parents, who both work and are out most of the time, so the house is generally very quiet and relaxed.

The location is super convenient:
- 8-minute walk to Lewisham Station
- 1 stop from London Bridge
- Around 15 minutes’ walk to the University of Greenwich
- 53 bus stop around 6 minutes away, with easy access towards Goldsmiths
- Very close to Blackheath, parks, supermarkets and local shops
- Driveway parking is also available

All bills are included, so you won’t have to worry about sorting out or paying separate utilities each month.

The room has recently been extended and there are just a few small finishing touches still being completed, such as the window sills and TV, but everything will be fully finished and ready by 1 September.

It’s a really nice option if you want the comfort of a family home without the noise and hassle of a busy shared house. Large room, private bathroom, modern kitchen, parking, all bills included and excellent transport links into Central London.
