A beautiful double bedroom in a lovely home

As one of my current housemate's, a doctor at Lewisham Hospital, job will be taken her out of London, we are now looking for someone to take her room from beginning of August 2016.

As the new housemate (females preferred but males also considered) you will be sharing a lovely, very secure Victorian home with garden with me (female), my partner (male) and one other housemate (female) aged 29 to 30 years old. I am looking for a non-smoker, friendly, clean, tidy and considerate housemate. As a household we are respectful of each other’s space and privacy whilst being friendly. On reflection we are something of a musical household with our combined love of music in general, salsa, percussion and ukulele. So if you are a fellow musical person this maybe a good home for you. But don’t worry if you’re not musical (and even if you are) we also value silence and rest so keep the noise levels low, especially during the working week so as not to disturb each other.

As I have two cats the housemate needs to be comfortable living with two cute, quiet, shy but friendly black and white cats.

The house is conveniently located for Catford, Catford Bridge, Ladywell and Lewisham train stations for quick and easy access into Canary Wharf, the City, Central London, Farringdon/St Pancras, Greenwich and Bromley. There are also a vast number of buses available including regular night buses.

Local amenities including supermarkets (Tesco, Tesco Express, Aldi, Lidl and Sainsbury’s), all the high street banks, shops, restaurants and gyms in walking distance. On street parking is available subject to the purchase of a parking permit.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with the usual equipment (American fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, large range cooker, toaster, pots, pans, cutlery and dining table) and good storage space (you will have your own good sized cupboards).

The large double room available consists of a double bed, large double wardrobe, desk, chair and small 3 drawer chest of drawers. There is enough space for you to furnish with additional free standing furniture if you wish.

The upstairs bathroom next to the bedroom has a bath and over the bath shower. As my partner and I rarely use this bathroom except for when taking the occasional bath and occasional evening/night time trip to the bathroom, you will share this bathroom with one other housemate only. This makes co-ordinating use of the bathroom in the morning and evenings much easier for you. My partner and I almost exclusively use the downstairs shower room and toilet.

All bills included (super-fast wireless Virgin broadband, water, electricity, gas, TV license and council tax).

Students are welcome and the property has good transportation links for Greenwich, Goldsmith’s, South Bank and other universities located in the centre of London (A former housemate regularly commuted to London Metropolitan University for 3 years). The property is also ideally situated for professionals working at Lewisham Hospital, King’s College Hospital, Lewisham Council, Greenwich, Bromley, Canary Wharf and the City.
