Light double room 10 minutes’ walk from station

I have what I would like to think a beautifully furnished bedroom on offer in a top floor flat. It has a comfortable double bed with brand new memory foam mattress, with double wardrobe, a bedside chest of draws and shelves.

My home has a modern high-spec kitchen and bathroom, and a large balcony (with BBQ and ironic gnomes!) overlooking the leafy garden. It benefits from a spacious and contemporary reception-come-dining room with a two sofas, 32-inch LCD TV, an old record player and shared broadband.

The flat has a corner shops 30 seconds away and is 8 minutes from Lewisham High Street with all its high street shops and excellent market, 2 minutes to a large Lidls (cheap and very cheerful!) and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackheath Village centre (and its trendy cafes, restaurants, bars/pubs) where there are local convenience stores and several independent boutiques. We are on a bus route and there are buses that stop literally at the door from the station every few minutes should you not fancy the short walk!

Lewisham station is a 10 minute train ride to London Bridge, 12 minutes to Waterloo and Cannon Street, and 15 minutes to Charing Cross. It is also on the DLR which takes 10 minutes to Greenwich and 20 minutes to Canary Wharf.

The house is a 10 minute walk from the open spaces of the Heath; and a lovely 10 minute walk through the village will lead to Greenwich park.… Perfect if you're a jogger/cyclist/walker; like the idea of living in a leafy London suburb, or simply appreciate green and open spaces in London.

You'd be sharing with myself, Sarah, 31 and a professional working in the City. I am out a lot, adore traveling but also love my home and would like someone who is laid back, fun, friendly and sociable.. That isn’t too much to ask is it?!
