Description

Hi there,

I’ll be travelling for a few months and am willing to sublet my room in this lovely flat, from the beginning of June until the end of November.
It's a good-sized double bedroom, nice and bright, with a small ensuite bathroom.
The flat is very spacious, newly furbished, with good connection to London city centre, located between St Johns station (10 minutes’ walk) where you will find trains to London Bridge (7-9 minutes journey) and Cannon Street (11-12 minutes) and Lewisham station (also 10 minutes’ walk) where you can catch the DLR and trains to London Bridge, Charing Cross, Waterloo and Victoria.
There are also plenty of buses/night buses; the bus stop is a stone's throw away.

I've been living in the area for more than two years now, and really enjoy it.
Brockley market is just up the street every Saturday morning, and you can find good products from local producers – or enjoy a full breakfast at the communal table (which is quite lovely when it's sunny outside).
Hilly Fields Park is very close too; it's easy to walk there for a home-made cake at Pistachios café or just chill on the grass.
You can also walk to Greenwich (3 stops away on the DLR) where you'll find plenty of cool pubs/restaurants/shops plus, of course, Greenwich market and the park.
If you go up Lewisham way, passing by our local pub The Talbot (good food, nice terrace) and Meze Mangal (probably one of the best Turkish restaurant I have tried in London), you will quickly find yourself in New Cross – another nice neighbourhood, quite lively with Goldsmith university and lots of places to go out (have a look at the Amersham Arms: they play live music almost every evening.)

Near the flat you’ll find loads of convenience shops, a small Tesco (3 minutes’ walk) and a big one on Lewisham road (10-12 minutes’ walk). Lewisham centre is 10 minutes’ walk away with Lewisham Shopping Centre and the high street where you can find pretty much everything (Sainsbury, banks, post office, Primark, etc.).

You would be sharing the flat with my amazing flatmate and friend Léa, who is working as a video editor. We have been living together for the past 3 years and it's still fun; she is very easy-going and respectful. Her job makes her travel quite often though, so you might even have the flat to yourself for a few weeks!

The rent is £550 per month + £42 for the council tax and more or less £25 for the bills.

If you are interested, please email me to tell me a bit about yourself.
