Description
Hello,
I'm Nas, the landlady and live here with 3 others at the moment (4 bedroom house). Looking for two short-term lets (as a family will be moving into the place in mid-April).
One room (smaller room, £720) is available from 2nd March until 11th April and the (bigger room, £800) is available from 11th March until 11th April. I can be flexible with dates.
Who we are
I'm Nas, late 30s. I've lived here for 8 years and you'll be living with myself and Brigida, in her mid-30s. We met on Spareroom but there is a very homely, sociable vibe. It's a lovely, friendly and peaceful house :). There is lots of space so we aren’t living on top of each other. I work in research from home and Brigida is an Occupational Therapist, working out of the home.
The house
The house is a 3 story townhouse on a quiet, residential street. It is modern, with wood flooring and extremely spacious. There are two toilets and one bathroom to share between 3 housemates (I have my own), a lounge, a kitchen with a kitchen table, dishwasher and two big fridges and freezers and also a big dining room where we store bikes/dry laundry. There is also a big garden which is perfect in the summer - we were growing veg there too until recently.
The smaller room is a medium sized - big double and the big room is very big, spacious with a big bay window. They come furnished.
The area
The house is a 5 minute walk from Leytonstone tube which is on the central line and gets you into central London in 25 mins. It is also a 5 minute walk to Leytonstone High Road overground station taking you west.
There are lots of cute cafes, pubs and bars in the area and it really has a community feel. Francis Road is only 5 minutes away which has some trendy brunch places and bars.
The house is also close to the Olympic Park perfect for running/swimming as well as Wansted Park/Flats and Leyton Flats.
We love the area!
Bills
The rent includes everything (gas, water, electricity, council tax, internet) and also includes a cleaner who comes every other week. .
You
We are looking for a housemate who is considerate, clean and tidy, easy going, queer/LGBTQ+ friendly and who is up for a chat now and again.
In your message please say a little about yourself.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
