About the house:

The house is a big, four bed, three floor property situated on a quiet, residential street in Wanstead. The ground floor includes a lovely open plan kitchen (including a kitchen island and dining room table) and living room area. No need to bring your own kitchen appliances if you don’t have any, as it comes fully stocked with everything you need. The ground floor also has a utility room which comes with a washing machine and a communal bathroom.

The second floor includes three bedrooms and another communal bathroom. The top floor is an attic room that comes with a private bathroom. The back garden is one of the major selling points of the house. The decking area includes an outside table where you can enjoy dinner/lunch in the summer months. The garden area at the back is big and great for relaxing in during the summer months.

About the room on offer:

The room on offer is an annex, separate to the main building of the house. It is a very spacious room that gets a lot of natural light (curtains can be used for darkness). Complete with heating, en-suite including shower, and storage area. This room makes for a great bedroom that is it's own private space, yet is only a few meters away from the kitchen and living room. The location means you are connected to our garden, and the double glazed doors can be opened to make full use of this in the summer. In the winter it is well heated. It also makes a great workshop space. Really cool room. Well built building, can add curtains or drapes easily, previous housemates have made this room into a really beautiful and cool looking space. Pet dogs not allowed.

About the housemates:

The group of people living in the household have been in the property for six+ years, with various members of their friendship group residing here during that time. Everyone in the household is super friendly and respectful of each other's personal space. That being said, this is also a very sociable household. During the week, there is a mixture of people wfh and working from the office, with those wfh using the living and dining room areas throughout the day. The living and kitchen area are good for working from home as it is quiet and gets a lot of natural light. Occasionally, we’ll cook together during the week on special occasions such as birthdays. On the weekends, people are either out and enjoying the nightlife or staying in and chilling. You can enjoy your own privacy or socialise with the housemates, we cook, chill and sometimes go out together :)

If you don't already know, Wanstead has a lot of green space around that is great if you love going for walks and running. The house is 15 minute walk from Wanstead Station and Leytonstone station is a bit more (central line). I normally walk this, but a few minutes on the bus can take you to and from each station, and buses are frequent.

Cost is £950 pm + bills, which makes this a great value for the right person.

Looking for someone to move in 1st December, but earlier can possibly be arranged.
