Double room with garden access in Leytonstone

We’re looking for a new housemate to join our relaxed and welcoming home in Leytonstone. The house is just an 8-minute walk from Leytonstone Station (central line) and Leytonstone high street, with great bus links to Walthamstow, Leyton, Stratford and Woodford. You also have Tesco, Aldi, M&S and Sainsbury’s Local nearby, and it’s only 15 minutes to Stratford Westfield or 25 minutes into central London (westbound) or Essex (eastbound). It is also surrounded by many primary and secondary schools, as well as Whipps Cross hospital, making it a really convenient spot.

The room itself is a large, bright double on the ground floor with direct access to the garden. It’s fully furnished with a brand-new double bed and mattress (with storage), a sofa, wardrobe, two chest of drawers, and a desk with chair. The room has just been refurbished, and all bills are included, so it’s ready to move straight into.

You’ll be sharing a 4-bedroom house with me (I’m 32 and run my own business), my retired mum, and our friendly cat. There’s a WC downstairs, a shared bathroom upstairs (which you’ll share with me), and a large kitchen-dining area which is very much the hub of the home. We like to cook, eat and catch up in the evenings, but we’re also respectful of space and like to keep things clean and tidy. We are vegan and pescatarian.

We’re looking for a single professional - ideally a teacher or medical staff – who is clean, considerate, reliable with rent and happy to live with a cat (but without bringing other pets), and happy to stay for a minimum of 6 months. The room is non-smoking and we’re ideally looking for someone who is also vegan, vegetarian or pescatarian.
