Light, spacious double room

I’m looking for someone to occupy a double bedroom for a short-let period of 3 months – 20th November to 20th February (dates negotiable).

THE FLAT

Light, airy and spacious flat on the second floor of a small apartment block.

The walls are quite solid which means it’s nice and quiet, plus the bedroom backs out onto the communal garden downstairs.

The flat itself is furnished, however all the furniture in the bedroom belongs to the current lodger so will be gone by the time the next person moves in. I will provide a double bed and wardrobe, but other than that the bedroom will be unfurnished. I may be able to provide some more furniture if needed (e. g. a desk), this is something we can discuss :)

The flat is on a quiet stretch of road in Leytonstone and includes:

- a spacious living room with a sofa and dining table
- a large, fully-fitted kitchen
- a bathroom with a bath and shower
- use of the communal gardens

THE LOCAL AREA

It has good transport links; Leytonstone underground station (central line) and Leyton Midlands Overground station are both a 10-15 minute walk away, and it’s well connected for buses. If like me you’re a cyclist, Waltham Forest is one of the safest places in London for it.

It’s a 15 minute walk Leytonstone High Street and has everything you might need in terms of shops and supermarkets.

There are a few lovely pubs and cafes within 15 mins walk and Epping Forest is just around the corner.

A BIT ABOUT ME

I’m a 36 year old professional, mostly in the office, WFH once or twice a week. I’m a pretty friendly and sociable person so may be up for sharing meals/ watching a film from time to time, but also like my own space sometimes as well. I would prefer someone who is vegetarian/vegan.

I’m looking for someone who is considerate, relatively tidy and who doesn’t working from home every day.
