Short-Term Room in Lovely Leytonstone Home

Hi! We're Georgia and Ella (both 29) and we're looking for a friendly new housemate to join our much-loved home in Leytonstone for a short-term let.

We're looking for someone initially for 5 months, with the potential to stay longer depending on our landlord's plans (they're considering selling the property, but there's no confirmed timeline yet).

The room
- A bright, fully furnished double bedroom in a spacious two-storey terraced house with:
- A lovely private garden
- We also have a spare room (perfect for drying laundry, guests or a bit of extra space!)
- Your room has a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers
- You'll only be sharing the main bathroom with one of us, as the third bedroom has an en-suite.

The essentials
- £739 per month
- All bills included - water, gas + electricity, council tax (Waltham Forest Band C), wifi + TV license)
- Available from 29th August and hoping to fill the room by 3rd September
- Deposit: £653.66 (fully refundable at the end of the tenancy)
- Around a 10-minute walk to both Leyton and Leytonstone Central Line Underground stations, plus Leytonstone High Road Overground.

About the house & area
We've been friends since 2017 and genuinely love living here. Georgia has called the house home for over six years and Ella for four and a half, so it's a place we've really cared for.

Leytonstone has an amazing community feel with loads of brilliant independent cafés, pubs and local spots, lovely green spaces for walks, and (most importantly) an iconic Sunday drag night at our local pub. It's peaceful, friendly and incredibly well connected to the rest of London.
We've also been really lucky with our landlord and estate agents, who have always been responsive and easy to deal with.

About us
We're both clean, considerate and work from home around three days a week. Life is usually pretty busy, but we really value having a home that's warm, relaxed and welcoming.

Ella
Works for a charity supporting university students through volunteering and community projects.
Loves cooking, yoga, live music, exhibitions and anything creative. Big fan of a cosy pub, a city farm, a silly dance and anything pickled.

Georgia
Works in the Civil Service leading work to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls.
Currently training for an Ironman (!!!), and also loves baking, gardening and all things crafty.
