Room available from 1st September – 2-bed flat in Leytonstone
I’m looking for a new flatmate for a room in my two-bed flat in Leytonstone, available from 1st September.
The flat was originally unfurnished, but there’s an opportunity for some furniture to stay in the bedroom if useful — happy to chat about what you’d need. The space has previously been shared by a couple, so it’s quite naturally set up to feel communal and shared rather than like two completely separate lives under one roof.
A little about me:
I’m 27 and work as a personal trainer, with a big interest in mental health, wellbeing and generally understanding how people work. I also have ADHD, which comes with its own quirks when sharing a home, so I really value open communication and being able to create simple shared systems around things like cleaning, communal spaces and household admin rather than letting frustrations quietly build up.
My work means I’m often out fairly early — I don’t take clients before 7am — and some days I can get home around 8:30/9pm.
Who I’d ideally like to live with:
Someone who enjoys connection and having a chat or spending time together, while also really valuing independence and their own space.
It would be lovely to live with someone creative, musical, or generally interested in creative things, although that’s definitely not essential.
I’d also prefer someone who sees home as more of a calm base and tends to do most of their socialising outside the flat, rather than regularly having lots of people over.
Working from home is completely fine. If you work a typical professional/hybrid job, a mixture of home and office would probably suit the rhythm of the flat particularly well.
In terms of how we share the space, I’m pretty flexible. I’d be happy with something quite autonomous, or something a little more collaborative and communal — it’s more about finding a setup that works naturally for both of us.
Ultimately, I’m looking for someone kind, communicative and considerate who wants their home to feel comfortable, relaxed and mutually respectful.
If this sounds like it might suit you, send me a message with a little bit about yourself and we can have a chat.
