Description

The apartment has fantastic views of the colourful boats on the Limehouse basin and a huge balcony.

The ensuite room also has a private courtyard facing balcony and this room gets the morning sun.

As both the other rooms have ensuites, the person with the smaller room by default has private use of the main bathroom.

Bills are split evenly between us (3 people) and work out to be ~£200 per month per person.

The lounge / dining room is absolutely huge and there is space for storage in the flat. My beloved flatmates leaving have lived here for 7 and 4 years and so a few little bits of the furniture and art will be gone but not to worry - I will (or you can help if you like) spruce the lounge room right up again! We can easily make space for a desk in the communal space if necessary. This is a LGBTQ+ friendly household.

The apartment is in a gated community with a lovely concierge, small gym and bike storage.

We currently have a weekly cleaner (not included in the bills estimate), who I'm keen to keep on a weekly/ fortnightly basis.

About me
I'm a 29 YO Australian professional working office hours in the city and have lived in this flat for 4 years. I WFH 2 days a week. We have a lovely flat dynamic and I'm looking for flatmates who are keen to make this a home and have an occasional dinner together, watch a movie or grab a pint! I both love a night out and a night in to myself and want to find people who will love the space like my current flatmates and I do.

The area
Limehouse is a quaint little area of London and very well connected. The DLR from Limehouse station gets you to Bank in 6 minutes. You can get to Shadwell in 2 minutes where you can get the Overground. There are dedicated cycle highways into the city.

There are plenty of nice places to walk/ run near the Thames and canals - towards Tower Bridge and Victoria Park are my favourites. Our locals are The Grapes and The Cruising Association (both have fantastic food and cheap pints). Wapping is close by with lots of charming old pubs and a Saturday market.

Supermarkets are a 10 minute walk along the basin or canal - Lidl or Tesco Express. Canary Wharf (20 minute walk) has Waitrose and everything else.

This is not the place for you if you want a busy atmosphere and to be around a lot of cafes/ bars. This is the place for you if you like a break from all the madness but still like to be close enough to get to it when you want!

Move in date is end of January but can potentially be flexible. Ideally looking for 2 singles to fill both rooms rather than a couple in any room. Will consider short term lets but looking for someone more permanent.
