Double Room in Central with stunning Shard Views!

My flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone great to move in and help make this place feel like home 🙌🏽

The flat will be available from the 15th of November. It is a bright, modern 2-bed near London Bridge, Southwark, Borough and Waterloo – everything you need is nearby, with amazing transport links and plenty to explore. We’ve got a gorgeous view of The Shard from both the living room and your bedroom, plus a great balcony that’s ideal for morning coffee or a chilled evening drink.

I moved in this March, so the flat still feels fairly new and there’s plenty of opportunity to make it a home. It’s part-furnished, with a sofa and dining table in the living area, chairs and table for the balcony and the bedroom comes with a bed frame, bedside cabinet, clothes rail and wardrobe. The flat also includes all essential white goods like a washing machine and dishwasher.

There’s definitely space to add a few extras to make it homely and anything else that helps make it a comfortable shared space.

Rent is £1,270 per month, and bills come to around £150 each, including internet, gas, electricity, and council tax. The deposit is £998.

I’m looking for someone who has their own thing going on and in a similar age bracket who is also up for a glass of wine, Netflix night or flat dinner. Ideally, you’re kind, clean, respectful, and mainly work from the office with a couple days working from home- just to keep a nice balance in the flat during the week. The flat would be suitable for someone who is a working professional and isn’t available for couples or short-lets.

You’d be sharing with me – I am a 34 year old woman who works in sports wellbeing. I’m from Scotland but have lived in London for 10 years! I work from home a couple days but mostly out in the office. I’m down for a good laugh, and keep things pretty low-key during the week and socialise at the weekends. Looking to create a chilled, friendly environment where we both feel comfortable at home.
