Hi, I'm George. I've been lucky enough to call this flat home for the past three years and have genuinely loved living here. The location, the space and the people have made it a fantastic place to live. I'm now moving in with my girlfriend, so we're looking for someone to take over my room and become part of the household.

The room is available from December, although there's some flexibility around timing if needed. Ideally I'd move out in December, with January at the latest.

The Flat

The flat is part of a secure gated development and has a really great balance of space, comfort and convenience, including:

The Location

One of the things I've enjoyed most about living here is how well connected it is while still feeling slightly removed from the busyness of central London.
• 5-minute walk to Limehouse Station (Bank in under 10 minutes)
• 10-minute walk to Shadwell Overground
• 15-minute walk to Canary Wharf
• Cycle route into Central London directly outside the building

The local area has loads going for it too, including riverside walks along the Thames, historic pubs such as The Grapes, great cafés and bakeries, Troxy and The George for live music, plus all the restaurants, shops, gyms and transport links that Canary Wharf offers.

The Housemates

You'll be living with Jake, John and Hortense (Hortense is moving in at the end of October). They're all young professionals with their own friends, hobbies and busy schedules, but everyone is friendly, easy-going and enjoys a chat in the living room when they're around.
What makes the flat special is that it feels like a home rather than just a place where people rent rooms. We all get on well, respect each other's space, and enjoy the occasional drink, dinner or catch-up together. We take pride in keeping the place clean, tidy and welcoming, and we're looking for someone who'll enjoy being part of that environment.
Costs
• Rent: £1,025pcm
• Bills: Usually around £160-£170pcm (including council tax, utilities, internet and cleaner)
• Total: Approximately £1,190-£1,200pcm all in

We're ideally looking for someone friendly, considerate and tidy who is looking for a home rather than just somewhere to stay.
