Huge room in a 2-bed flat

Hello! I will be moving out to the joys of having a place of my own, and I'm looking for a replacement.
The flat is available from 21st November.

The flat: You will be taking a large, furnished, brightly-lit room in a two-bed flat. It's 5 minutes from Whitechapel Station (Elizabeth line, District, H&C, Overground), <5 minutes from Bethnal Green Overground, and 10 minutes from Bethnal Green Underground (Central).

The room is huge, gets great light, and all the furniture in the photos stays except the desk--in addition to the two chests of drawers, there's a wardrobe to the left of the bed that's not in the photos.

There is a large living room, one shared bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, clothes washer), and a large storage space under the stairs. There’s parking space in the building and I believe you could arrange a permit with the council.


The household: We would prefer a professional--if you're a student you need a sufficient monthly income or a UK guarantor. You'll be living with my current flatmate Damayanti (Dami). She's 26, friendly, and around for a weekend pub or park. During the week, she works long hours and is usually in the office, so the flat is quiet during the day, ideal if you work from home and appreciate having your own space. We're very open to having people over and hosting parties, so long as it's respectful of the neighbors.


Rent and bills: Rent is £1,072 pcm plus council tax (£68) water (£30), electricity (£15), wifi (£15) and gas variable by season, so all told about £1,200. The deposit is £1,170.

Tenancy term: The tenancy is on a monthly rolling basis. Dami is currently looking to buy a flat, which could take anywhere from a few months to over a year. While you could keep the flat and bring on a new tenant once she's gone, we're mindful of the disruption for you too, and she's willing to time her move out accordingly--so let us know how long you're looking to stay and we can work from there!
