The bedroom has a super-comfy 4’ double ottoman bed with a quality mattress, plenty of storage and hanging space. Super-fast broadband, Smart TV, and a small fridge. The bathroom is spacious and modern, with a power shower.
The ground floor of the house is a large open-plan living and dining space and kitchen with all mod-cons, and there's an additional living room at the front of the house. Patio doors open to a large, decked area and a beautiful garden with BBQ.
Located in a quiet and safe road in Upper Leytonstone, one of the leading up-and-coming areas in London, with plenty of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafes, food shops etc. Great transport links to the City (15 mins), Shoreditch / Old Street (15 mins), Stratford / Westfield (10 mins), West End (30 mins), Canary Wharf (20 mins), and more. Central Line and Leyton Midland Overground stations are both a short 8-minute walk, with frequent buses just around the corner from the house to get you to either station in just a few minutes.
There is also easy access to lots of wonderful countryside, with areas such as Wanstead Park, Hollow Ponds, and Epping Forest on your doorstep.
A bit about me… I work from home and run my own business, restoring and selling vintage furniture. I tend to work long hours and start my day early, so the room is best suited to someone who works full-time / similar hours, away from the house, without regular working from home days.
I’m friendly and sociable, definitely a glass half full person and enjoy a vino or two, but this isn't a party house. I am a smoker, so you’ll need at least to be tolerant of that (though I've a no smoking rule upstairs). And lastly, you’ll need to love and be confident around dogs, as I’ve three gorgeous, lively rescues 😊
The rent is £975.00 a calendar month, which includes broadband and all other bills. I take care of all the cleaning and supply cleaning products, kitchen essentials, wash tabs etc, so all you need to do is take care of your room and bathroom.
A minimum 3-month commitment is preferred, with lodging paid monthly in advance, and a deposit of one month.
It would be great if you could provide a brief summary about yourself and then we can look to having a chat on the ‘phone and to arrange a viewing.
