We have a great range of amenities including pubs; bars; restaurants; cinema; Theatre; in and around Stratford Olympic village, with its state of the art Shopping Centre boasting an excellent range of shops and facilities catering for diverse tastes and pockets.
Residential area; An off licence and corner shop is a minute walk away and a well maintain attractive park a stone throw from residence. There is a Tesco Express, a 24hr gym and paddle board tennis and cutting edge bouldering facility all within 5-12minutes walking distance. There is also an excellent Tia Restaurant generously priced where people come from all over London to enjoy a first glass meal which is equally matched by the wholesome and relaxed atmosphere within 10 minutes walking distance from abode.
Transport
Stratford station in London is a major transportation hub, serving multiple rail lines and underground connections:
Greater Anglia, c2c, Southeastern, and Elizabeth Line.
central line; jubilee line, DLR, Stratford Regional and Stratford International stations.
8 minutes by train or tube into Liverpool St Station and Kings Cross Station and 14 minutes to the West End, Central London.
4 minutes by bus to Stratford station. and two night buses.
Between 10-25 minutes walk to Mary Ward Centre, Queen Mary University, University of East London, and others.
Living environment
Is better suited to someone looking for a calm, fairly quite, homely, very clean and tidy, warm, peaceful, respectful and secure living environment, with an occasional burst of energy.

My home adherer's to all health and safety regulations, that includes a Landlord Gas safety certificate, (CP12) Electrical Installation Condition Report and electric, carbon monoxide monitor and smoke alarms, so you can have a peace of mind. (Documentation available on viewing).
Home insurance covering breakdown of white goods and electric, plumbing, gas boiler etc, is also available to Lodgers in the absence of Landlady to avoid delays.
I have several years of being a successful British Afro -Caribbean middle age landlady, catering for people from all ethnic, class and age backgrounds. I am usually very skilled at selecting people who will get along well with each other and with myself, to keep the good vibes rolling. :o)
I am creative, trustworthy, honest, and love a good laugh, deep and light hearted conversations, sharing a meal, drink, movie, board game etc, when time allows and mood suits. I am also looking to return to work as soon as possible.
I have thank you cards from previous lodgers, available at the viewing.
You would share with a professional English male who works in the City 5 and occasionally six days a week, who is generous spirited with great tastes in wine and cheese and can be thoughtful and kind and good humoured.
I welcome visitors to the house if they adhere to the same house rules and the frequency is kept in moderation.

Fully equipped kitchen dinner with a microwave, all crockery, blender; pots & pans, kettle; toaster, fruit bowl; provided with a fairly large stainless steel fridge freezer, offering personal storage space, including within a pantry cupboard to avoid confusion and possible upset.
In addition to the super comfortable bed, professionally cleaned with organic products on the 27th of June 2025 (receipt provided : ) ,The single room comes with an iron, ironing board, two floating shelves, modern chair and a wardrobe with a glass mid panel and flexible mirror, and a 4 tier chest of drawers and free internet connection. (TV if needed)
As you can see, your room is generously self contained for your comfort, privacy and convenience and highly cost effective.
Short stays, decent bedding and towels are provided.
Rent
Rent £780 (£650) mon-fri only. One month's rent and one month deposit required in advance. It includes all utility bills, Internet, and all the above benefits. The price is kept to a minimum as there is no use of the living room. informed by SpareRoom that my rooms are very competitively priced for the area and what I am offering.
Your Deposit
Is immediately returned after the room check and you return the keys to me, not the 20 days legally allowed.
