Room in a two-bedroom house with garden in Leyton – £1,050 pcm

I’m moving into a two-bedroom house on Ellingham Road and looking for someone to share it with from 4 November.

The room measures approximately 3m × 3.5m and comes semi-furnished with a double bed, though you may want to bring a few other bits to make it your own. There’s some additional storage available too.

The house has a modern kitchen with plenty of space, a spacious lounge with a dining area, and a garden. You’d be sharing with just me.

I’m renting the house from a friend and will be the main tenant, subletting the second bedroom, so you’d be dealing directly with me.

I’m Jonny, 38, and run my own street food business. Outside work I’m into surfing, the gym, running, music and eating out. I’m fairly busy and sometimes away for work or surf trips.

I’m looking for someone friendly, considerate and tidy who enjoys a balance of privacy and interaction. I’d like it to feel like a shared home where we’re comfortable having a chat and using the communal spaces, while also respecting each other’s own time, rather than both disappearing into our rooms.

Working from home a few days a week would be fine, but the house probably wouldn’t suit someone who works from home full-time.
