Single room for rent in E16

Hi all,

Our flatmate has decided to move out of London, so we’re now looking for someone to take his room. The flat is a lovely two-level maisonette in an amazing area. At the moment we’re two professional ladies, and we’d love to find a third person to join us.

About the flat:
We have a spacious living room and two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), which means you’ll only be sharing with one other person. There’s no cleaner, but we take turns keeping the communal areas tidy. The single room available comes with a large wardrobe and shelves, and we can arrange a bit of extra storage if needed. We also have a balcony, communal garden, garage space, and parking (permit required). The flat is fully equipped with all the essentials.

About the new flatmate:
We’re looking for a professional who is clean, respectful, and friendly. Since there isn’t much space for a desk, the flat is better suited for someone who doesn’t work from home full-time. We’d love to live with someone we can get along with and share a nice balance of personal space and social time. We don’t throw parties often, but we like to think of this flat as a warm home. Friends, family, or the occasional dinner guest are always welcome.

Area:

Walking distance to Tesco, and other convenience shops. Many large supermarkets in Canning town -15-20 minutes walk.

The room will be available from 1st January. References and proof of income are required. The rent is currently £850, but with rising utility costs and the upcoming contract renewal, there may be a small increase of £20–£50 (to be confirmed).
