Description
I have a small double room that will be available towards the end of May as my housemate is moving into a place he has purchased.
The room is quite modest but there is quite a generous sized living room which is shared. It’s currently set up for both watching TV and chilling out but also for WFH set ups but that can be discussed with any new tenant.
The flat is right next to Victoria Dock with restaurants, cafes and bars as well as access to a large Morrisons and a few smaller supermarkets. It has direct access to the Elizabeth line, DLR and is also close to a Jubilee line station for an easy commute to central. You also have access to the cable car which takes you over to the O2.
Who you’d be living with -
ME! I’m a 37 year old professional working in the video game industry. I try to go to the office 2-3 days a week in central so would work out a schedule with any new tenant to ensure both of us get some solo WFH time as well. I’m generally quite quiet and clean, and my hobbies include reading and videos games but I also do record my own music on weekends (but keep the “noise” to a minimum during acceptable hours). I also do travel a few times a year for work so you’d know you would occasionally get the place to yourself. I typically don’t have people round a lot, mostly just when I have friends staying the night after a gig etc.
We’d be setting up a new agreement with the landlord who I’m on very good terms with so we have the potential of the lease being until May 2027.
I’d be looking for a 7 day a week joint tenant but would also be open to discussing 5 day lets for professionals who may just need somewhere to stay during the week for a reduced rent.
Generally I’m looking for someone who is happy doing their own thing and wants a nice, quiet place in a nice neighbourhood.
