I’m looking for a lodger to share my home with me and my small dog!
About the space:
I have a double room to let in the Higham Hill area of Walthamstow - 5 minutes walk from the back of Loyd Park. The room can come furnished or unfurnished with a double bed and a desk - the current furniture in the room is mine, this will be swapped out for something different. It also has two storage cupboards. You will share the bathroom and kitchen with me. There isn't a living room but the bedroom is very spacious.
There are great public transport links. The flat is within walking distance to both Walthamstow Central station and Blackhorse road station which are both on the Victoria line. You can also catch the W11 right outside the flat to Blackhorse Road station and the 158 is a 5 minute walk away. The flat is close to Walthamstow wetlands and very close to Loyd park, both of which are lovely to walk/run/cycle if you like the outdoors too.

This is my home so it is important to me that we have similar expectations for living together and get along well. I am happy to work around the availability for the right person to share my home with.
I am a 31yr old female who works in education. I work from home 2/3 days a week. I am a clean, quiet and considerate housemate. I am social but also very much enjoy my alone time, so my home is a quiet space to relax. I enjoy cooking, gym, cycling, lazy pub days, drawing and museums/galleries etc. I am not a big party person but like a pint of guinness down the pub. It would be great to have a flat mate who doesn't want to be a total stranger but equally likes their own space.
Please note, I also have a very friendly dog (hypoallergenic so you won't find hair everywhere) so you must be happy to live with her and respectful of having a pet in the space too.
The rent would be £670 a month. Gas and electrics are added as a separate bill on top (split evenly between us each month).
The room won't be available until late November / early December.
A lodgers agreement will be written up prior to move in.
