Description
Hello, potential housemate! :)
This house is the best rental I've ever lived in London. If you're after space, there's a lot of it here and loads of storage. The place features a separate lounge, a large kitchen, a garden (accompanied by a shed for extra storage), and—conveniently—two toilets.
I’ve lived here since August with my lovely housemate, who’s sadly moving out to become a homeowner. I currently rent the larger room (the one on offer), but I’ll be moving into the smaller room. I really love this place and have no intention of leaving it anytime soon :)
The room:
It’s large, bright, and furnished with two wardrobes, a chest of drawers, and a bed. There’s also a simple desk available if you’d like it. I currently work from home in this room, but once I move, I’ll be working downstairs.
A bit about me / home routines:
I work from home 3/4 days a week, usually 9–5, sometimes a little later. I’m an early bird, but I’m very respectful of different routines. I’m tidy, considerate, and enjoy a relaxed, friendly home where we can chat over a cup of tea or food, but also have our own space.
I’m 32 and work in policy for a trade association. Outside of work, I’m into cooking, reading, crocheting, salsa dancing, climbing, gigs, walking, hiking, activism and seeing friends. I like keeping the place comfortable and clean, and I’m hoping to live with someone who appreciates the same. I eat pescatarian and dairy/gluten-free food, but I have absolutely no expectations about what you eat.
I have a reasonable social battery but also need to relax and be horizontal at least once a week to reset. Normally, I like to do this by watching something: anything from trash to romcoms, or even something decent(?) - perhaps we could bond this way!
The practical bits:
Available from 31 January
- Rent: £950
- Bills: £225 (all bills inclusive)
- I would prefer to live with a woman (sorry, guys!)
