Description
Morning,
My room in the heart of Walthamstow Village, which I’m sad to be moving on from, will be available from mid-September, at an attractive rate. Bills come to around £120-£150 per month, seasonally dependant.
£721 deposit which I can’t set on here for some reason.
The. room has 3 windows, 2 south facing getting the sun in the mornings and an open window to the garden. Comes furnished with the bed + mattress, drawers and wardrobe.
It is perfect for anyone who keeps their space tidy, with freedom to add their own taste and style to a cosy bedroom.
The house itself has 4 bedrooms, a social living room and large kitchen where we spend most of our time, a downstairs bathroom, and a large garden which is great for barbecues and after work beers. It is located right in the center of Walthamstow Village, which is a vibrant and upmarket area of East London, with plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants with a welcoming villagey vibe. There is plenty of activity with a local leisure centre, martial arts clubs and unique brewery’s dotted around the area.
The Victoria underground line, Suffragette and Weaver overground lines, and the large Walthamstow Bus Depot are also only a 10 minute walk away. There are several larger supermarkets in walking distance (Lidl, Tesco), as well as the longest street market in Europe on the weekends!
We are a very social and welcoming house, consisting of 4 young professionals in architecture industries who are happy to chat about anything and everything, with interests in football, cricket, art and design, fitness, and music, among many more.
You may see our other room advertised, so we are welcoming any mutuals/current housemates to join as a two to help fill the remaining space, be sure to take a look at both options.
(This room from mid Sep, other room from Oct)
We are LGBTQ+ friendly, however only one of the tenants identifies. So it’s not an entirely ‘queer’ household in that respect. But we’re open to change.
Please tell us a little about yourself and your interests as well as the logistics of your move, so we can get a good gauge of your fit in the house. We won't respond to generic/copy pasted messages so please give some thought to your intro.
