Hi, I’m Samantha, or Sam, and I am one of the flatmates and owner of our lovely Hackney home.

A bit about the rooms:
Both are partially furnished double rooms, recently redecorated, with a double bed & storage options. There is a full bathroom next door which is shared with one other flatmate. The room overlooks a park so there is plenty of light and beautiful views.

A bit about the house:
The house is a 1500 sq ft 4 bedroom house over three floors. A private entrance from the road leads upstairs to the kitchen, dining & living space as well as a North facing Terrace. The kitchen and living room has just undergone a full renovation and has been designed to a high standard.

The kitchen has an induction stove, dishwasher, and large fridge/freezer.

The available bedrooms are on the second floor along with the full bathroom, laundry cubbard and a single bedroom I use as an office.

My bedroom and en-suite are on the third floor so there is good separation & privacy for people to keep to themselves should they wish.

All bills are included which is all utilities, a weekly cleaner for common areas, broadband, & sky TV. Council Tax band C.

A bit about me:
I am American and moved to London over a decade ago for work. During the week, I go to the office 2/3 days, but otherwise work from home. Most of my friends live in East London (and most are former flatmates!) so I’m usually wandering around the neighbourhood socialising.

I have a 3 year old rescue Tabby cat, Mara, who is quite skittish and likes to keep to herself in my room. If you would like to befriend her it will take patience and lots of treats.

Weekends are definitely bookended by the great markets on the doorstop. The flat is in between Broadway Market for Saturday and Columbia Road on Sundays.

Both rooms are available now with an ideal move in date to be no later than 1st December.
