Description
Hi there, I've been living in the flat for a couple of years now and it's really great.
A couple of things to mention up front:
I'm looking for a vegetarian/vegan as I'm vegan and it would be great to have the space, especially the kitchen, continue this vibe.
It's a LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-friendly space.
Now, for some other fun features.
It's a 5 min leisurely walk to Victoria park, and that's never lost its shine in the time I've been here.
14 min walk to Mile End Station. 18 min walk to Bethnal Green station but it doesn't really feel like 18 min. There are also several bus stops for several different routes within a stone's throw of the front door.
There are lots of nice cafes, pubs, bars, and places to eat in this area. This is one of the reasons it's my favourite area to live in London. And I'm obviously happy to share my various plant-based recommendations.
Moving inside, the study space on the lower floor is truly huge. It has two desks, as you can see in the photo, a skylight above the desks, with plenty of room for a whiteboard, and additional sitting area. The sitting area also features the reading nook, which I'm very pleased with. It's cozy as hell.
I also have a black and white laser printer with WiFi so we can actually print things on physical paper, which feels quite novel these days. Speaking of printers, I also have a 3D printer which you're welcome to use, too. Or, I can print stuff for you if you want a coaster, shower handle, or perhaps a toy boat.
There are also plenty of board games of various sizes. I'm a big fan of them so always up for a game. Similarly, I have a Nintendo Switch and a couple of PCs so many opportunities for games. As well as the whiteboard being a great space for Pictionary, etc.
Kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, various coffee-making equipment, kitchenaid stand mixer, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. A mortar and pestle? That thing is pretty cool.
Laundry/powder room includes a washing machine and several places to hang clothes.
The room's available from Dec 1.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I may add more to this later.
