Description
Hello everyone!
I’m away for November/December and my flat is available for 1 month (ish - I'm slightly flexible with dates, but it's available from 15th November). I'll be back in mid-December but I'm flexible.
THE ROOMS
The bigger room has floor-to-ceiling doors onto the large balcony which is shared by the living room and the other bedroom, and has a view over towards London Fields and the station. The room has large wardrobes and an ensuite shower and toilet.
The second room also looks onto the balcony and across onto London Fields. It has underfloor heating, huge wardrobes, carpet and private use of the bathroom.
THE FLAT
It's part of a development called The Fisheries which has workspaces below (for a princely sum, you too can work from there). They take our deliveries for us too. The flat itself is a very high-spec build, including underfloor heating, high concrete ceilings, exposed brick, wooden floors, a washing machine and a dishwasher. It also has a bike store. Council Tax band: D.
THE LIVING ROOM
The living room has a 65” TV, Sonos surround, an Alexa that regularly interrupts your conversations or plays Murder on the Dancefloor without being asked, a PS5 and plants that need urgent attention. Induction hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and more floor-to-ceiling doors onto the frankly oversized balcony.
THE AREA
It’s a quiet area, away from the noise of Mare Street but directly next to the park, with more small businesses in the railway arches popping up every month - E5 bakery, several restaurants, gyms, breweries, a gaming/pool bar, and more. I can't keep track.
You’ve got Broadway Market/Regent's Canal within a 5 minute walk, and as many bars, cafés, bakeries, cinemas and supermarkets as you can shake a stick at. It has an aptly named off-license very close by ('So Local'), and a Lidl/an Iceland within a few minutes' walk. It's perfect, there's nowhere else I'd live in London.
GETTING AROUND
It actually is 'by London Fields station' as advertised - a 2 minute walk from which you can get to Liverpool St in 8 mins, or any of the buses from Mare St if you want to travel further afield. Hackney Central is a 10 min walk away which connects to the Victoria line via Highbury & Islington. It’s a 1 minute stroll to London Fields itself, with all the dogs, the Pub on the Park, the lido etc.
Please get in touch if this sounds like somewhere you want to live.
