Lovely double bedroom with bathroom available!

Hi! My name is Lauren and I bought the flat earlier this year and have been renovating it but am now looking for someone to rent out the second bedroom.

The bedroom itself has been freshly painted, with a lovely new carpet and underlay installed as well. There is a built in wardrobe that has half height hanging with drawers underneath, and then full length hanging to the right. There is also storage underneath the bed. I do need to buy a mattress for the double bed (a brand new John Lewis bed) but will be doing so before anyone moves in! I’ve got a blackout blind and cute blind that is thermally insulated as well that needs to go up but it should be nice and cosy during Winter when that’s sorted! The bathroom also has a bath/shower with toilet and would be for your own use.

The living room is cute and cosy with a brand new sofa and armchair with large TV for watching movies and Netflix! Above the living room is a mezzanine with a cute little kitchen and dining table. I like to cook and bake on the weekends so would like someone who is happy to taste test!

The flat is very secure and the property has 24/7 security as well. If you have a car and need a parking space I can definitely check on what the cost is to rent a second parking space for you.

Out the front of the building is 2 large grassy areas which are lovely to sit out in the summer. There’s also 2 tennis courts that residents can use - I play tennis so would love it if you can play as well! There’s also a gym at the property - I think with the resident discount it comes to about £80-90 a month but would need to double check.

Transport connections wise, New Southgate station is a 2/3 minute walk away which gets you into Finsbury Park in a matter of minutes for the Victoria line, or it goes direct to Moorgate in about 20 minutes. There is also the Piccadilly line at Arnos Grove which is about a 15 minute walk away.

As this is my first flat and I’ve taken a lot of care over buying new furniture and decorating it, I’m looking for someone respectful, clean and tidy. I work every day from the office and sometimes on weekends too as I work in events so am keen for someone to move in who doesn’t WFH all week. I love playing tennis and have found a great Pilates studio in Palmers Green and Muswell Hill that I also like going to. There’s a great local coffee shop near Arnos Grove station too and a big retail park a 10 minute walk from the property with M&S, Dunelm, McDonald’s and a costa.

I’m pretty relaxed as a flatmate, just like shared areas to be kept clean and tidy! In the evenings after work I like to cook dinner and watch movies or Netflix. It’s not a party house by any means so ideally hoping for someone who also needs a calm and quiet home.
